Three Real Options. Not One Sales Pitch.

Most gutter guard companies sell one product because they manufacture one product. The sales call is always the same, regardless of your home, your trees, or your budget. Gutter Pro is an authorized installer of three different systems. We match the product to your property, not the property to our inventory.

Three options, not one

Most gutter guard companies sell whatever they make. We install the right product for your specific tree cover, roof, and budget. LeafBlaster Pro, Alu-Rex Double-Pro, or E-Z Smooth Flow.

Stainless micromesh for oak debris

Live oak, water oak, and pine straw clog standard guards within a season. Stainless micromesh keeps debris on top while letting water through. The only mesh fine enough to handle NE Florida canopy.

Authorized installer credentials

Gutterglove Done Right Partner for LeafBlaster Pro, authorized Alu-Rex installer. Manufacturer warranties up to 40 years, backed by training, not advertising.

Cheap plastic guards and DIY foam inserts fail in one season. We do not install either. LeafBlaster Pro, Alu-Rex, or E-Z Smooth Flow are the only acceptable options for serious gutter protection in Jacksonville.

What We Install

  • LeafBlaster Pro stainless micromesh, 40-year manufacturer warranty, $12 to $14 per linear foot installed. Recommended for most NE FL homes. Surgical-grade stainless mesh on a contoured aluminum frame.
  • Alu-Rex Double-Pro continuous aluminum cover with built-in hanger system, $14 per linear foot installed. Heavy oak canopy and integrated structural support. Reinforces the gutter while it protects.
  • E-Z Smooth Flow aluminum perforated guard, $6 per linear foot installed. Light tree cover, budget-conscious projects, and rentals. Color-matched aluminum, snap-in install.
  • Installation includes removing existing debris from the gutters, inspecting and tightening the entire gutter system, color-matched installation to the existing fascia or gutter, manufacturer registration on file with Gutterglove or Alu-Rex.
  • Installs on existing gutters where the gutter system is in sound condition. We will not install a guard over a failing gutter and call it a fix. If the gutters need replacement first, the quote shows both scopes.
  • Stainless and corrosion-rated fasteners across the coastal corridor. Painted steel fasteners corrode through within years near the Atlantic and Intracoastal.

Where We Install Gutter Guards

Same crew works the entire Northeast Florida region. Most quotes scheduled within 48 hours.

Guards Only Work on a Sound Gutter System

Gutter guards do not fix a failing gutter. If the gutters are pulled off the fascia, undersized for the roof, sectional with leaking joints, or running spike-and-ferrule that has rusted through, a guard install is wasted money. The system underneath has to hold up. See the seamless gutter installation page if your existing gutters are due. Most full-system jobs combine new seamless 6, 7, or 8-inch gutters with LeafBlaster Pro on the same mobilization, often qualifying for Wisetack 0 percent APR financing.

How a Gutter Guard Install Works

  1. Free on-site walk. Albert evaluates the tree canopy, gutter condition, and roof type. The right product is the one that matches your debris load, not the most expensive line item on the quote.
  2. Detailed written quote. Product, linear footage, color, gutter repairs if any. Itemized. No surprise upcharges.
  3. Gutter cleaning and inspection. Existing debris cleared. Hangers tightened or replaced where needed. Loose end caps and sectional joints sealed before the guard goes on.
  4. Color-matched install. LeafBlaster Pro and E-Z Smooth Flow color matched to existing gutter or fascia. Alu-Rex Double-Pro available in standard aluminum finishes.
  5. Manufacturer registration. Warranty registered with Gutterglove or Alu-Rex on the day of install.
  6. Final walkthrough with Albert. Lifetime workmanship warranty starts the day we leave. Manufacturer warranty runs for the term of the product, up to 40 years on LeafBlaster Pro.

Gutter Guards FAQ

What do gutter guards actually do?
Gutter guards keep leaves, pine straw, oak tassels, twigs, and roof grit out of the gutter trough while letting water through. The result is fewer clogs, fewer overflow events at the fascia and foundation, and dramatically less ladder time spent cleaning gutters. A good guard does not eliminate maintenance entirely, but it reduces a quarterly cleaning to an annual rinse for most properties.
What is the difference between micromesh and perforated guards?
Micromesh uses a fine stainless steel screen, typically under 50 microns, that blocks even pine straw and shingle grit while letting water through by surface tension. Perforated aluminum guards have larger holes punched into the cover and rely on debris sliding off the curved surface. Micromesh handles oak and pine canopy. Perforated handles light tree cover. We install both, LeafBlaster Pro for micromesh and E-Z Smooth Flow for perforated.
Do I still need to clean my gutters with guards installed?
Less, but not never. Even the best micromesh guards develop surface debris over time, especially under heavy oak canopy. Expect an annual rinse to flush organic residue off the mesh surface. That compares to quarterly hand cleaning of an unguarded gutter under the same canopy. The maintenance reduction is the point.
Do gutter guards stop oak debris in Northeast Florida?
LeafBlaster Pro stainless micromesh and Alu-Rex Double-Pro both handle oak debris well. Oak tassels, leaves, and the fine grit that comes off live oaks all stay on top of the guard surface and either blow away or get rinsed off in the next storm. Perforated guards and plastic insert systems do not handle oak debris. We will not install perforated under a heavy oak canopy.
What is the warranty on gutter guards?
LeafBlaster Pro carries a 40-year manufacturer warranty on the product itself, registered with Gutterglove at install. Alu-Rex Double-Pro carries a lifetime no-clog warranty. E-Z Smooth Flow carries a 20-year limited warranty. Gutter Pro adds a lifetime workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer coverage. If the install fails, we fix it at no charge.
Can guards be installed on existing gutters?
Yes, on existing gutters that are in sound condition. We inspect the gutter system before quoting. If the existing gutters are pulled off the fascia, undersized for the roof, sectional with leaking joints, or running spike-and-ferrule that has rusted, we recommend addressing the gutters first. A guard does not fix a failing gutter. The quote shows both scopes if both are needed.
How much do gutter guards cost?
LeafBlaster Pro installed pricing in Jacksonville runs $12 to $14 per linear foot. Alu-Rex Double-Pro runs about $14 per linear foot. E-Z Smooth Flow runs about $6 per linear foot. Total project cost depends on linear footage of gutter. A typical Northeast Florida home runs 140 to 220 linear feet of gutter, putting a LeafBlaster Pro install in the $1,700 to $3,100 range. Detailed itemized quotes provided after on-site walk.
Will gutter guards damage my roof?
Not when installed correctly. LeafBlaster Pro and E-Z Smooth Flow sit on top of the gutter and attach to the gutter itself, never under the shingle. We do not install guards that require lifting the first row of shingles, which can void roof manufacturer warranties. Alu-Rex Double-Pro attaches via its own continuous aluminum cover and integrated hanger and stays well clear of the roof field.
Do gutter guards work in heavy rain?
Yes. LeafBlaster Pro stainless micromesh is engineered for high-volume rainfall and handles tropical-storm-intensity events when paired with correctly sized 6 or 7-inch gutters and adequate downspout capacity. Alu-Rex Double-Pro uses a slot-and-rib design that channels heavy rain into the gutter. Where guards fail in heavy rain, the gutter is usually undersized for the roof, not the guard.
What is the difference between LeafBlaster Pro and Alu-Rex Double-Pro?
LeafBlaster Pro uses a stainless micromesh screen on a contoured aluminum frame, low profile, color matched to the gutter, 40-year warranty. Alu-Rex Double-Pro is a continuous aluminum cover with built-in hangers that reinforces the gutter structure as it protects, lifetime no-clog warranty. LeafBlaster Pro is the all-around recommendation. Alu-Rex makes sense for properties with very heavy oak canopy, sagging gutters that need structural reinforcement, or homeowners who want a no-mesh design.
Why not just install cheap plastic gutter guards?
Plastic guards and DIY foam inserts fail within one to two seasons in Northeast Florida. The plastic embrittles under UV exposure, the foam holds water and grows mold and algae, and both clog at the surface within a few oak debris cycles. The replacement cost plus the gutter damage from years of overflow exceeds the upfront cost of a real install. We do not install plastic or foam.
How long do gutter guards last?
LeafBlaster Pro is warranted for 40 years and built to outlast the gutter underneath. Alu-Rex Double-Pro carries a lifetime no-clog warranty. E-Z Smooth Flow is warranted for 20 years. In practice, a properly installed stainless micromesh or aluminum continuous-cover guard outlasts everything else on the roof except the structure itself.
Do you install gutter guards on commercial buildings?
Yes. We install LeafBlaster Pro and Alu-Rex on commercial buildings, HOA common-area buildings, multi-family properties, and light-commercial offices across Northeast Florida. Commercial installs use the same products and same warranties as residential. See the commercial gutters page for scope detail or call 904-304-3199 for a property walk.
Do you offer financing for gutter guard projects?
Yes. We offer Wisetack 0 percent APR introductory financing for qualified buyers. Approval takes minutes and does not affect your credit score. Available on full-system installs including gutters, guards, and drainage scopes.
