Seamless Gutters & Drainage in St. Johns County, FL

St. Johns County is one of Northeast Florida’s fastest-growing residential markets — Nocatee has consistently ranked among the top 10 best-selling master-planned communities in the country, World Golf Village remains a major established community, and the broader county runs from Julington Creek in the northwest to St. Augustine in the south to rural Hastings in the west. Different terrain, different drainage realities, different gutter needs per property. Generic builder-grade systems don’t account for the variation. We design each property around its actual roof load, lot grade, and water situation.

St. Johns County is not one place

The gutter and drainage approach varies significantly across the county:

  • Nocatee and the new growth corridors: newer construction with builder-grade systems often needing upgrades, varied tree cover, lot grades that range from preserve-edge to interior
  • World Golf Village: established community with mature trees, golf course interfaces, larger custom homes that need designed systems
  • Julington Creek Plantation: 5,000 acres, 45+ subdivisions, significant lake and preserve presence
  • Coastal St. Johns: salt-air exposure, storm risk, coastal soil
  • Western rural St. Johns: larger lots, septic and well, pine and oak debris load
  • Established St. Augustine area: historic homes alongside newer construction

  • Soffit and fascia repair as part of scope when needed
  • Coordination with HOA / ARB / community standards as required

NDS-certified drainage for St. Johns County properties

Most gutter companies install aluminum and stop. We’re NDS-certified for drainage system design and we handle gutters AND drainage as one engineered scope. That matters most in St. Johns County for two reasons: many newer subdivisions have builder-grade drainage that’s already been overwhelmed in heavy rain events, and many older communities have aging infrastructure where individual property routing matters more.

My builder-grade gutters work — should I upgrade?

Not necessarily. Many newer St. Johns County homes have functional builder systems. The common failure points are undersized profile, exposed strap hangers, and corrugated downspout extensions. We’ll review and recommend honestly.

Can you handle drainage for my new construction or remodel?

Yes. We coordinate with builders, landscape architects, and pool contractors during construction and remodels. Designed gutter and drainage as part of the broader water-management plan.

What’s the warranty?

Lifetime warranty on labor and materials. Fully insured.

St. Johns Gutter & Drainage FAQ

  • Maybe not — but you need them inspected. Common 5-year St. Johns issues we find: pulled hangers, separated end caps, downspouts disconnected from extensions, and water hitting fascia or pooling between close-built houses. Often a smart upgrade plus drainage work beats full replacement.

  • 6-inch standard. 7-inch for larger 2-story or steep-roof homes. Builder-spec 5-inch is too small for our rainfall — we don’t install 5-inch.

  • It matters a lot. When new construction puts homes 10–20 feet apart, both roofs dump water into the same narrow strip of ground. Without a properly designed French drain, catch basin, or underground extension between the houses, that water sits against your foundation and your neighbor’s. Foundation moisture, mold, settling, and dead landscape are the result. We design drainage between close-built homes specifically to solve this.

  • Yes — drainage is one of our specialties. NDS Certified Professional Drainage Contractor. We design French drains, catch basins, channel drains, and underground downspout extensions specific to St. Johns soil, lot grade, and the close-built lot lines that make new-construction drainage harder.

  • Most St. Johns homes fall between $1,400 and $4,500 depending on size, gutter size (6” vs 7”), gutter guards, and any drainage work included. French drains and catch basins are quoted separately based on lot conditions. Free detailed quotes — usually scheduled within 48 hours.
